The project is looking at the voyeuristic mechanism at stake in Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954) with the aim to answer the following research question:
|To what extent are we aware and self-critical of the voyeuristic and perverted nature of spectatorship within film? |
Thibaut Degenne produced an immersive installation to find out whether it's possible or not for a film spectator to gain consciousness of his role as an implicit voyeur.
